Dharma Daily ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Dharma Daily mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Your spiritual practice is deeply personal, and we believe your data deserves the same level of respect and care. We do not sell your personal data. We do not show advertisements. We do not track you across other apps or websites.
The short version: We collect only what's needed to make the app work. We never sell your data. We never show ads. Your spiritual journey is yours alone.

Information we do NOT collect
We do not collect your location data, contacts, photos, browsing history, or any data from other apps on your device. We do not use cookies for advertising. We do not create advertising profiles.

How We Use Your Information
We use your information for the following purposes:
To provide and maintain the App — delivering the Shloka of the Day, tracking your reading progress and streaks, saving your bookmarked verses, and enabling the Ask Krishna AI feature.
To improve the App — understanding which features are most used and valued, identifying bugs and performance issues, and developing new content and features.
To communicate with you — sending essential service notifications (such as account security), responding to your support requests, and notifying you of important changes to the App or this policy.
We will never use your information to show you advertisements, sell to third parties, or build profiles for marketing purposes.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. Period.

Ask Krishna AI & Your Conversations
Ask Krishna is an AI-powered feature that provides spiritual guidance rooted in the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita. Here's how we handle your conversations:
Your conversations are private. We do not read, review, or share your individual Ask Krishna conversations. They are processed by our AI provider solely to generate responses.
Your questions are sent to our AI provider to generate responses. We do not attach your name, email, or any identifying information to these queries. Conversation history is stored on your device and in your encrypted account data so you can revisit past conversations. You can delete your Ask Krishna conversation history at any time from the app settings.
We may use anonymized, aggregated data about the types of questions asked (e.g., "questions about purpose were asked 500 times this week") to improve the quality of responses. Individual conversations are never used for this purpose.

Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption, both in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). We use reputable cloud hosting providers with SOC 2 compliance.
While no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, we take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Your subscription and payment information is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive, process, or store your credit card or payment details.

Your Rights & Choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Access — You can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
Correction — You can update your profile information directly in the App at any time.
Deletion — You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Export — You can request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.
Opt out of analytics — You can disable analytics data collection in the App's settings.

Children's Privacy
Dharma Daily is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information as quickly as possible.
